Looking for a great event? Head out to Medina for the Ride Against Hunger “golf course ride.” It’s similar to a poker run, but instead of drawing a card to make a poker hand, riders will stop at various “hole” locations and draw a numbered golf ball from a bag. The number on the ball is their score for that hole. Riders can also purchase “mulligans” & extra score cards to increase their odds of winning the $200 cash prize for the lowest score card or $50 for the highest score card.
Riders will be treated to complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning and a free pig roast after the ride. Participants can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win cash and prizes.
Proceeds of this event benefit Cups Cafe, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization open six days a week providing free meals for kids since 2007. Cups Cafe is a connecting place where guests can expect to find coffee, comfort, conversation… and so much more. It is a place where young people can go to find someone who will listen.
