The Allen Family has owned and operated Motohio European Motorbikes in Columbus, OH, since 2008. The dealership provides sales, parts and service for BMW, Ducati and Triumph motorcycles.
Mike and his wife Ann, along with son Kirk and daughter Elizabeth, are fortunate to be able to work together and support each other while investing in the future of the motorcycling community. Motohio stems from the passion of motorcycling, and sharing that passion with other enthusiasts.
The diverse background of the Allen family’s riding and racing experience makes a perfect fit for the business. They can relate to a wide range of customers. Racing is in their blood, from motocross to GNCC, hare scrambles to ice racing, adventure riding to drag racing. Each member of the Allen family has found their niche and conquered many disciplines. The Allens spend their weekends racing and enjoying time with family and friends.
Each member of the Allen family has their own area of proficiency at the business level, along with experienced employees who feel like extended family. Mike is the dealer principal; Ann is the operations manager; and Elizabeth is the sales manager. Kirk was previously the service manager but is now the general manager of Motohio’s sister dealership, BMW Motorcycles of Greater Cincinnati (also owned by the Allen family).
Motohio takes extra care to have all dealer staff certified, knowledgeable and experienced with all the European models they sell. Each employee has extensive and continuous training for technology updates and new models. All employees are riders, so customers can feel confident that Motohio will meet and exceed their needs.
