After successfully owning and operating Motohio European Motorbikes in Columbus, Ohio, for over 12 years, Mike Allen, his wife Ann, son Kirk and daughter Elizabeth saw the need for a premium dealership experience in Southwest Ohio.
In June 2019, the Allen Family opened a second dealership, BMW Motorcycles of Greater Cincinnati. The dealership offers sales, parts and service exclusively for BMW motorcycles while servicing Cincinnati, Dayton and the surrounding region.
The Allens put blood, sweat and gears into opening their second dealership.
After extensive research and planning, Middletown—conveniently located off I-75 and situated exactly halfway between Dayton and Cincinnati—was chosen as the perfect location. After finalizing the real estate, a fifteen-month-long remodeling and construction began.
The site was previously home to the city’s senior citizen recreation facility. After sitting vacant for several years, the Allens had to completely renovate the existing space to house the dealership’s needs. Not an easy—or quick—task. However, the hard work eventually paid off.
The beautifully remodeled 22,000-square-foot-structure now boasts a huge showroom, complete with the following:

- Full Parts Department
- Service Center Workshop (lower level)
- Make Life a Ride Café
A hand-painted mural of the Cincinnati skyline adorns the showroom’s southern wall, adding to the unique BMW Motorrad atmosphere. The property also features an outdoor park with mature trees and a pergola for bike shows, club gatherings and events.
